Sing Up

Julio Aguilera is the owner and a coach at Team Overtime mixed martial arts. He has been practicing martial arts for 12 years and has been participating competitively for ten years. He has worked with many different coaches, many which were the best in the world. From Manolo Hernandez from 10th Planet San Diego to the head coach from Team Hurricane, coach Julio has received training from many recognized coaches. He uses his diverse experience in martial arts to teach people of all ages all about mixed martial arts. Coach Julio teaches boxing, kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, and wrestling.

Julio Aguilera, Coach/Owner

Tony, Coach 

Tony is a coach at Team Overtime that teaches kickboxing, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, and Jiu-Jitsu. He has over 20 years of martial arts experience. Tony started when he was ten years old and has continued practicing since then. He has participated in tournaments for black belt taekwondo, brown belt Jiu-Jitsu, kickboxing, and boxing. He has ten amateur fights and three professional fights on his resume. He uses his rich martial arts experience to teach the youth about these arts. His goal is to teach the new generations the importance of self-discipline to help them grow and become greater human beings.

Miguel, Coach

Miguel Velasquez is a coach at Team Overtime. He has over 13 years of experience in boxing. He started competing when he was six years old. When he was eight, he competed in at least two tournaments every month! Miguel also competed for USA boxing and participated in many national tournaments. He has lots of experience and uses it to teach Team Overtime Students the fundamentals of boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, and kickboxing.

Carlos, Coach

Carlos is a coach at Team Overtime. He’s been boxing with Team Overtime since he was 15 years old. Here he obtained his burning passion for boxing. He has experience in boxing, Muay Thai, and Jiu-Jitsu. He started his martial arts journey weighing 265 lbs and dropped down to 200 so far and is continuing until reaching his goal. He loves teaching at Team Overtime since he gets to see his students grow not only as fighters but as people as well. Practicing MMA gives people confidence and teaches them social skills, and Carlos is happy to be part of that growth.
